Correctomundo. Stirring is a huge no-no. Plus the point of this drink is not to be drowned out with soda. It’s a build-on-ice drink so that the soda is merely a chaser, not half the damn drink.

Yea, pretty much. I tried experimenting with substitutions for a few recipes, and it turned out like shit.
True, but you could just have everything slightly chilled at room temp. Not everything has to be in ice.
Yeah, he’s got it all wrong. Put ice in a rocks glass and the pour in Kahlua. Follow with Vodka and a little splash of Sprite. Pour everything slowly so it is a layered shot. The Kahlua will naturally stay at the bottom of the glass and when you put a straw in you suck it from the bottom.
Sorry buddy but this drink is on the rocks.
